The Confederated Kingdoms of Azerzia is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Prime Minister Marc Crayik with a fair hand, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 6.377 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rotae City. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Elevator music has been replaced by thrash metal played at maximum volume, snakes are frequently shot for looking at people 'in a funny way', crime suspects are forced to submit to blood testing, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime is totally unknown. Azerzia's national animal is the snake, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the gesa.
