The Principality of Autumn Wind is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Atropos Vicze with an iron fist, and remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 6.768 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Zyzzarzaz. The average income tax rate is 66%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Beef-Based Agriculture.

Murderers frequently escape punishment by claiming they were protecting their honour, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, naturists are jailed regularly for indecent exposure, and the government has begun breaking all large businesses into thousands of mom-and-pop general stores. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Autumn Wind's national animal is the Titanoboa, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Fascislammunism, and its currency is the Crown.
