The Constitutional Fed Republic of Aurensia is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Chancellor Harold F Faire with a fair hand, and notable for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.007 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Commerce are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of the District of Concord. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Book Publishing industries.

Senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour, most governmental positions are filled by zealous nationalists, a typical fast food menu item could serve a small army, and morning coffees are no longer the same since the disappearance of newspapers. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a major problem. Aurensia's national animal is the Black Bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Antonne.

Aurensia is ranked 6th in Tyrrhenia and 3,072nd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 7 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
