The Free Land of Arizoneia is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Colonial President Lee Adama with an even hand, and remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.42 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The medium-sized government devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fort Huachuca. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 3%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Thieves are flogged in public for their crimes, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, the government regularly hires contractors to construct high rise apartments, and electrocution deaths among computer technicians are at an all-time high. Crime is a serious problem. Arizoneia's national animal is the Sheltie, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Drought.
