The Militant Republic of Arimaxistad is a massive, safe nation, ruled by the Supreme Leader Otte I with an iron fist, and remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.41 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Genesis. The average income tax rate is 96%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Toddlers are wielding machine guns in the name of national defense, conductors wield diamond-encrusted batons to fit in with their freshly gilded surroundings, the nation is famous for having one of the world's largest Big Foot hunting institutions, and parents live in fear of governmental 'child protection' squads. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Arimaxistad's national animal is the Big Foot, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Atheism, and its currency is the MXr.

Arimaxistad is ranked 408th in Europe and 91,653rd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -4 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
