The Empire of the Free Peoples of Arcadonisia is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Alistar IV with an even hand, and renowned for its happy-go-lucky citizens. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 2.632 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Equality, Education, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Achron. The average income tax rate is 73%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

All writing must pass a censorship board before being allowed on the shelves, citizens must pay to enjoy Arcadonisia's pristine beaches, record sales of 'child-whacking sticks' have been reported, and a fashion designer has been arrested for inciting hatred after claiming redheads couldn't pull off vermillion. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Arcadonisia's national animal is the Gargantuan Grey Steel Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Lapiz Lazuli Shekel.

Arcadonisia is ranked 1st in Mazeria and 2,948th in the world for Most Pacifist, scoring 474 on the Lennon-Springsteen Scale.
