Pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government, the nation's diplomatic missives are now delivered via sniper rifle, citizens must pay to enjoy Appleopia's pristine beaches, and heavy industry must go to expensive lengths to dispose of waste. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Appleopia's national animal is the Mountain Lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Mac.
