The Anumian Democracy of Anumia is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Julian Anumia with an even hand, and renowned for its ban on automobiles. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 15.372 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, the Environment, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Bohemian Rhap City. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Nude art is becoming wildly popular, the government is notorious for leaving citizens with almost nothing from their inheritance, soylent products are an expensive commodity due to a lack of volunteers, and a vast monorail network carries people all over the country. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Anumia's national animal is the Anumian Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Anumist Credit.
