The Republic of Anikatia is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by President Baczewski and PM Gualtieri with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 4.756 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Antiytia. The average income tax rate is 93%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government is making attempts at curtailing the flood of spam emails with little progress, the government is forced to pander to the will of every fruitcake politician, all alcohol is banned, and citizens wishing to leave the country must surrender half their wealth to the government. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Anikatia's national animal is the Goldcrest Eaglehawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Anikuro.

Anikatia is ranked 78th in Europeia and 5,166th in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 102 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
