The Kingdom of Ang Philippines is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Jozefo Yamashita XLVI with an even hand, and notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.252 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Manila. The average income tax rate is 71%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The recently unemployed can often be seen at the local homeless shelter, the government is promoting multicultural values with the new 'Just Be Nice, OK?' initiative, businesses that prove successful are immediately broken up, and society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ang Philippines's national animal is the bald eagle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Roman Catholicism , and its currency is the cono bill.
