The Big Bad Wolf of Andropoland is a huge, safe nation, ruled by Andreski Wectb with an iron fist, and notable for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 921 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Andropolis. The average income tax rate is 54%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Universities are populated by the spawn of the upper classes, euthanasia is illegal, the Great Andropoland Desert is reputedly the most uninhabitable place in the region, and hairdressers are among those who have disappeared overnight. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Andropoland's national animal is the flying squirrel, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Andruble.

Andropoland is ranked 2nd in The World and 8,316th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 4 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
