The Republic of Andrapos is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Supreme Magistrate with an even hand, and notable for its parental licensing program. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 8.153 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Andrapos City. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture, Book Publishing, and Gambling industries.

Students who refuse to pray are expelled from school, citizens must have a license to operate a computer, prisons are crowded with possible terrorist suspects, and tax evaders are regularly visited by agents of the Andrapos Blood Tithe. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Andrapos's national animal is the Dire Wolf, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is individually applicable, and its currency is the cruzadora.

Andrapos is ranked 20th in The North Pacific and 670th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 13 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
