The People's Republic of Anderslavia is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by a horse in a wheelchair with an iron fist, and remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.476 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Public Transport. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Chickengrad. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

Citizens are regularly arrested in queues for 'loitering', major cities shut down as their local sports team takes to the field every day, major cities are suffering under water rationing, and gambling is outlawed. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Anderslavia's national animal is the Hairy-Nosed Otter, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is The Cult of The Holy Goat, and its currency is the Anderslavian Ruble.

Anderslavia is ranked 1st in United Congressional Freeborn States and 8,167th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 23 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
