The Grand Federation of Alvalero is a colossal, devout nation, ruled by Zander with an even hand, and renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6.605 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ankara. The average income tax rate is 77%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Tourism and Uranium Mining.

There is now a private sector based on doomsday devices (Alvalero has found 2 easter eggs), voters must frequently select what they view as the lesser of two evils on the ballot, skateparks can be found in every city, and dozens of additional foreign policy specialists have been sent to the country's WA Mission. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Alvalero's national animal is the White Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Norse Mythology, and its currency is the Alvaleran Dollar.

Alvalero is ranked 2nd in Balder and 355th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 257 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
