The Kingdom of Alpha Googol is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Tolstikov Zeidel with an even hand, and renowned for its unlimited-speed roads. Its compassionate population of 1.955 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Social Equality and the Environment are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Metropolis . The average income tax rate is 67%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Retirement homes are often fitted with luxurious suites, school uniforms are compulsory, the government has instituted 'traveller reservations' across the country, and houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries. Crime is totally unknown. Alpha Googol's national animal is the Lion, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Utopian Dollar.
