The Republic of All Things People is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by John Bull with a fair hand, and notable for its restrictive gun laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5.394 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Radio shows frequently feature people denouncing religion, traveller camps regularly block five-lane superhighways, almost all of All Things People's water is piped into the country from abroad for exorbitant prices, and recent protests against birds flying too low have resulted in bloodshed. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is pervasive, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. All Things People's national animal is the lion, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the pound.
