The Anti-Zombie Research Lab of Aleisyr is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Katerina Tei'ra Savar with an even hand, and renowned for its parental licensing program. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 23.797 billion Aleisyrians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Amian. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Information Technology and Book Publishing.

Aleisyr's airwaves are dominated by corporate-backed commercial radio, punitive tariffs protect local industry, a determined opposition debates the relative benefits of Arial and Times New Roman for days on end, and the nation's diplomatic missives are now delivered via sniper rifle. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Aleisyr's national animal is the Cardinal, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Aleisyrian Polytheism, and its currency is the Franco.

Aleisyr is ranked 3rd in the Pacific and 38th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 31 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
