The Federation of Aldaslavija is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by John Proda Kovachevski with an even hand, and notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 2.671 billion enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Commerce, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Capital Aldask-City. The average income tax rate is 94%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

Glittering new sports stadiums adorn every city and town, re-education centers are being added to most prisons, local executives are seen on the corner with cardboard signs reading "will oppress the masses for food", and the police force is on a recruitment drive. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Aldaslavija's national animal is the Snow Tiger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Aldaslavic Denarius.

Aldaslavija is ranked 164th in The North Pacific and 5,545th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 26 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
