A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Alaas is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations, traffic jams are a common sight due to construction work from a massive overhaul of the nation's freeways, and Alaas's educational system is the envy of many and regarded as a pinnacle of academic achievement. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Alaas's national animal is the Puma, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Luna.

Alaas is ranked 25th in The United Federation and 77,837th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 15 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
