The fire protection service is wholly government-funded, government-run screening operations remove embryos with severe genetic disorders, it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws, and embarrassed police officers wear spandex and carry net guns. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Afforess's national animal is the Dove, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Credit.
