The Paradise of Ad Vitam Adsum is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Sirhc Yeksul with a fair hand, and notable for its complete lack of public education. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.934 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Danrus. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Uranium Mining industries.

Ethnic minorities are often refused admission to some of the nation's best schools, citizens are enjoying a recent large cut in taxes, travellers are often forcibly evicted by torch-bearing mobs, and organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Ad Vitam Adsum's national animal is the Bigtopian, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the AVA Dollar.
