Overview People Government Economy Trend Analysis

The Lacking of -HumanSanity- is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Lord Populus with a fair hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls, state-planned economy, and punitive income tax rates. The democratic population of 6.863 billion Sane Humans are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous, liberal, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Environment, Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 71.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped -HumanSanity-ian economy, worth 205 trillion H$s a year, is driven entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly comprised of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 29,887 H$s, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, the government is avowedly atheist, crime is on the rise as DNA sampling has been all but outlawed, and leather-clad individuals can be seen walking their slaves in public parks. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. -HumanSanity-'s national animal is the Ostrich, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

-HumanSanity- is ranked 169th in Launching Point and 117,566th in the world for Most Avoided, scoring -642.71 on the Kardashian Reflex Score.
