The Democratic Commonwealth of -Hellenic Empire- is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by Emperor Konstantine with an even hand, and renowned for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate population of 5.502 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Education, although Defence and Law & Order are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Konstantinople. The average income tax rate is 83%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Information Technology and Automobile Manufacturing.

Punitive tariffs protect local industry, citizens who leave the country are officially classed as traitors, citizens applying for their first jobs face fierce competition from the homeless, and fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. -Hellenic Empire-'s national animal is the Turducken, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Orthodox Christianity, and its currency is the Lyra.
