The Democratic Commonwealth of -Hellenic Empire- is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Emperor Konstantine with an even hand, and renowned for its complete lack of prisons. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 7.338 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although the Environment and Law & Order are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Konstantinople. The average income tax rate is 96%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The people elect the Supreme Court justices directly, the government has enacted freedom of information, students are wary of colorfully decorated new teachers with names like Professor Pipsqueak, and droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. -Hellenic Empire-'s national animal is the Turducken, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Orthodox Christianity, and its currency is the Lyra.

-Hellenic Empire- is ranked 299th in Hellenic Civilization and 119,750th in the world for Largest Timber Woodchipping Industry, scoring -9 on the Tasmanian Pulp Environmental Export Index.
