The Democratic Commonwealth of -Hellenic Empire- is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Emperor Konstantine with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 3.156 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Defence and Law & Order are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Konstantinople. The average income tax rate is 67%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Cars speed down national highways while drivers sleep at the wheel, politicians are losing their jobs in a plan to make the government 'leaner and fitter', it is a crime to offend someone's religious beliefs, and the "Underwear of Women in Power" issue of The Konstantinople Times is sold out. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. -Hellenic Empire-'s national animal is the Pegasus, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Orthodox Christianity, and its currency is the Drachma.
