The People's Guardian of -Carta- is a massive, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its burgeoning Red Dragon population. Children are brainwashed at a young age to accept "Love and peace!" as a way of life, society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy, eight year-olds with lemonade stands have been known to be locked up on charges of embezzlement, and young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables. Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. -Carta-'s national animal is the Red Dragon, its national religion is the People's Faith, and its currency is the Chek.
