Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The African Republic of ----Zimbabwe---- is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Robert Mugabe with an even hand, and renowned for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate population of 6.87 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Religion & Spirituality and Defence are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Harare. The average income tax rate is 61%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The government seizes the property of the recently deceased, almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, ----Zimbabwe----'s schoolchildren are manufactured into a segregated bunch of soldiers, religious zealots, and computer technicians, and calling out of the blue has become taboo. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. ----Zimbabwe----'s national animal is the Zimbabwe bird, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the South African Rand.

----Zimbabwe---- is ranked 16th in Funen and 87,254th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring -3 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
