The 30 of ------------------------------ is a colossal, socially progressive nation, ruled by Leader with an even hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 7.559 billion ------------------------------ians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Commerce, with areas such as the Environment and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of All good People. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Retail and Gambling.

Elections have recently been reintroduced to ------------------------------, Pinkerton agents are called in to forcibly break up white collar strikes, mobile phone masts are being erected all over the country, and builders spend more time negotiating "tasteful architecture" than on actual construction. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. ------------------------------'s national animal is the 30, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the 30.

------------------------------ is ranked 38th in the West Pacific and 2,600th in the world for Most Scientifically Advanced, scoring 303 on the Kurzweil Singularity Index.
