It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fudgetopia. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 91%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Stores employing more than 100 employees are required to be at least twenty miles from any competitor, police conduct weekly raids looking for contraband cheeseburgers, the internet has been placed under government control, and citizens are barcoded to keep track of their movements. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. ---------------------------'s national animal is the 27, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is 27, and its currency is the 27.
