The Great Capitalistic Behemoth of Leg-ends is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, renowned for its keen interest in outer space. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 12.838 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Arms Manufacturing, and Gambling industries.

Violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, citizens simply have to point a weapon at a government official to get what they want, penurious citizens die from easily remedied ailments because they aren't 'taking enough initiative', and the children of Leg-ends are often remarked upon for their cheery attitude to extreme violence. Crime is crippling. Leg-ends's national animal is the Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Bottle Cap.
