Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 2.462 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are on the agenda. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Beef-Based Agriculture and Gambling.

Citizens are regularly arrested in queues for 'loitering', urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffer-driven limousines, abortion is only legal in unusual circumstances, and the police crack down on tax evaders without mercy. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Jefe051's national animal is the Cardinal, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the jefe.
