The Armed Republic of Idaho Conservatives is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Governor Knox with an iron fist, and notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 1.375 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

Only a minority of the population can actually vote at elections, meat is a luxury afforded only to the wealthy, the right to free speech is being drastically curtailed, and violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Idaho Conservatives's national animal is the moose, and its currency is the dollar.
