The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining industries.

Employers may fire workers without giving any reason, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, postmen have been arrested in job lots for selling junk mail as home insulation, and radio shows frequently feature people denouncing religion. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Greal's national animal is the Blackish Blue Tiger, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Greal Dollar.
