It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Gambling industries.

Pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government, homeless people are periodically found dead upon altars to assorted deities, the government is seen to favor Catholics, and manual labourers must be willing to have cybernetic limbs to get a job. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Galloism's national animal is the mammoth, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is The Galloismic Way, and its currency is the rupee.
