A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Beef-Based Agriculture.

Badminton was recently banned due to 'unacceptable violence' inherent to the game, the government has ordered a moratorium on referenda, every product goes through extensive safety-testing by the government, and citizens who refuse to vote are guillotined. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gaftonoshu's national animal is the Human, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Calories.
