The Nomadic Peoples of Disinfectantus is a massive, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.499 billion are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and the Environment. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Book Publishing and Uranium Mining.

Sex offenders find themselves 'cut off' from any ability to repeat their crimes, citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, armed police units patrol the roads late at night, and televangelists flaunt their expensive cars when they attend charity events. Crime is moderate. Disinfectantus's national animal is the Partridge, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Partridge Pellet.
