Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.519 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

Abortions are routinely performed in Chrobalta's hospitals, citizens are encouraged to report friends, family members or co-workers who seem depressed to the government for "counselling", religious organizations are being forced to leave the country or pay income taxes like everybody else, and the roads are notorious throughout the region for their peril. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Chrobalta's national animal is the hawk, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the chrome.
