Hello fellow nations,
Owing to an invasion attempt, I was forced to eject and ban several nations. Personally, I think that invasion is pretty stupid. A long time ago I was kicked out of another region by raiders, but it didn't really bother me much. I can understand why it would annoy others, so as such I have implemented protections to protect you- namely a password on the region.
I didn't have a lot of time to think about this or notify you as it was a rapidly-developing matter.
I'm interested in your thoughts on the issue.
Oh, and now would be a good time to talk about becoming a WA delegate:
If you want to be the delegate for Pacific, you just need to get enough endorsements. This isn't a dictatorship. I just didn't want a situation where old nations got kicked out because of an invasion.
I do ask that when you do become delegate you consider the founding policy of the pacific, however- "a region for every good nation". The main reason this region was formed initially (if I remember the posts right) was to be a nice place for any nation without fear of getting kicked out for not following some odd rule like some other regions.
Good day, comrades. I am an emissary from Webster readers. Our tempest-tost, huddled masses, seeking refuge from political persecution, settled these lands four centuries ago. After an incident involving an owl, Maxtopia, three nuclear missiles and a stack of blueberry pancakes we were persecuted for being too "liberal" and were accused of being traitors for refusing to invade an innocent African nation struggling to attain democracy. We fled, but agents of our enemies followed us. In the end we were forced to go underground, and we recently felt it safe to resurface here in the pacific.
We have observed that this region seems fairly quiet, barring the unfortunate events that took place twelve days ago. We are humbly wondering whether or not you our neighbors would be interested in creating a regional constitution, taking part in "role playing", or perhaps even electing a regional parliament.
