The Republic of Kaukolastan is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Director Kerrick with an even hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 10.381 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Commerce, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Corsingard. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 49%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Information Technology industries.

People reciting Shakespeare have become a common sight, the only places to see Cyber Eagles now are at local zoos, the commercialisation of highly deadly weapons has instilled Kaukolastan with a very polite populace, and a survey of the nation's rivers and children has shown that pesticide levels are at an all-time regional high. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kaukolastan's national animal is the Cyber Eagle, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Credit.

Kaukolastan is ranked 2nd in The Directorate and 10,036th in the world for Most Influential, scoring 37 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
