Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

The country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, military spending is on the increase, the nation has recently been attributed to the funding of terrorist organisations, and children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Comdidia's national animal is the extinct something, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Chip.
