The Scars of Ad Infinitum is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by The Chancellor with a fair hand, and remarkable for its national health service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 16.218 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Doofania. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 78%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill, police officers are seen patrolling the streets armed with satellite-guided truncheons, citizens recently voted in favour of declaring bubblewrap an 'abomination of nature', and the public health bureaucracy is wrapped in miles of red tape. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Ad Infinitum's national animal is the possum, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Seventh-Day Foxhole Agnostic, and its currency is the ice.

Ad Infinitum is ranked 63rd in 10000 Islands and 2,193rd in the world for Most Rebellious Youth, scoring 35 on the Stark-Dean Displacement Index.
