The Unified Worlds of Siesatia is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Jezra Redblade with an even hand, and remarkable for its irreverence towards religion. Its hard-nosed population of 13.639 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Greater Burmecia. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Uranium Mining.

Euthanasia is legal, marketing departments of corporate giants compete to sponsor little league teams, politicians are to be found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, and prosecutors routinely call transplant doctors as 'expert witnesses' in burglary cases. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Siesatia's national animal is the Chocobo, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Sie-Cred.

Siesatia is ranked 2nd in The ESUS and 96,215th in the world for Happiest Citizens, scoring 8 on the Relative Cheerfulness Rating.
