It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

Russkya's Medieval Faire is renowned as one of the best in the region, the right to free speech is being drastically curtailed, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, and police spend their Saturday nights breaking up illegal street races. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Russkya's national animal is the Grey Steppe Eagle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Russkyari.
