The Primal Force of Qazox is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by James Fisher with an even hand, and notable for its hatred of cheese. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 13.813 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Qazox City. The average income tax rate is 89%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Book Publishing and Gambling.

Teams of painters are converting road signs from horse lengths to kilometers, the government has instituted 'traveller reservations' across the country, the government encourages conflict abroad to increase arms sales, and citizens who leave the country are officially classed as traitors. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Qazox's national animal is the Qazian Ox, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Qazian, and its currency is the Zaq.

Qazox is ranked 1st in The Q Continuum and 55,847th in the world for Happiest Citizens, scoring 10 on the Relative Cheerfulness Rating.
