The Empire of Orinon is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by King Nothing with an even hand, and notable for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.951 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Tourism and Gambling.

Welfare funding has recently gone through the roof, punitive tariffs protect local industry, naturists are jailed regularly for indecent exposure, and Dragons are frequently shot for looking at people 'in a funny way'. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Orinon's national animal is the Dragon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is The Church of Fallen Gods, and its currency is the Dollar.

Orinon is ranked 1,345th in Osiris and 55,438th in the world for Happiest Citizens, scoring 10 on the Relative Cheerfulness Rating.
