The United Citizens Federation of Military Command is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Lord Protector James MacKenzie with an even hand, and notable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 12.632 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of New London. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The importance of winning Olympic gold medals is indoctrinated from an early age, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, and the 'kind of scrawny' 500 meter hurdle is a popular event. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Military Command's national animal is the scorpion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Federal Dollar.
