The United Citizens' Federation of Military Command is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Lord Protector James MacKenzie with an iron fist, and renowned for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 9.662 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Landing. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Sex changes are routinely performed at Military Command's hospitals, crowds of flag-burning protesters tend to accidentally become crowds of burning protesters, crime suspects are forced to submit to blood testing, and elections have become procedural nightmares due to voters persistently rejecting candidates. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Military Command's national animal is the scorpion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Federation Dollar.
