The Kingdom of Imbrinium is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by King Marcius A Reapers III with an even hand, and remarkable for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-nosed population of 8.534 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cormond. The average income tax rate is 97%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

Mining is the nation's most dangerous occupation, the nation's infamous boot camp is more brutal than most battlefields, small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants, and almost half of the child population live rough on the streets. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Imbrinium's national animal is the black bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the brin.

Imbrinium is ranked 38th in Greater Dienstad and 88,773rd in the world for Best Weather, with -134 Metres of Sunlight Above Expected.
