The Kingdom of Imbrinium is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by King Marcius A Sobairce III with an even hand, and remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed population of 9.137 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Cormond. The average income tax rate is 97%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

The nation's infamous boot camp is more brutal than most battlefields, small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants, almost half of the child population live rough on the streets, and the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Imbrinium's national animal is the black bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the brin.

Imbrinium is ranked 36th in Greater Dienstad and 86,546th in the world for Happiest Citizens, scoring 10 on the Relative Cheerfulness Rating.
