The Galactic Empire of Huntaer is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Eve Agathon with an even hand, and notable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 16.323 billion enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, liberal individuals concentrates mainly on Defence, although Commerce and Law & Order are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Huntaria. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Woodchip Exports.

Local executives are seen on the corner with cardboard signs reading "will oppress the masses for food", the government's only official statement on the burning down of Huntaria was that 'they shouldn't have been so careless', new urban roads are threatening city parks, and the nation's infamous boot camp is more brutal than most battlefields. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Huntaer's national animal is the Coredian, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Kirtir, and its currency is the Twi'lek.

Huntaer is ranked 12th in Grand Alliance and 100,739th in the world for Happiest Citizens, scoring -9 on the Relative Cheerfulness Rating.
