The Eternal Celestial Regency of Daehanjeiguk is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Grand Marshal Yi with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 9.548 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Gyeongju. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

The streets are increasingly clogged with poverty-stricken beggars, ten-year-olds regularly found their own political parties, voting is voluntary, and corporations are either above the law or corrupting it. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Daehanjeiguk's national animal is the phoenix, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the weon.
