A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Information Technology.

Protesters are up in arms over new nuclear power stations, all forms of advertising are banned, the nation's industries are scrambling to switch to biodegradable plastics, and the nation's diplomatic missives are now delivered via sniper rifle. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Cotland's national animal is the Lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Rikskrone.

Cotland is ranked 21st in the region and 3,280th in the world for Most Godforsaken.
