The Imperial Crown Kingdom of Clandonia Prime is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by King William VII with an iron fist, and remarkable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 7.625 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Commerce, and Defence. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Warminster. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining, Information Technology, and Gambling industries.

The nation's massive battleships are often mistaken for islands, mining is the nation's most dangerous occupation, the streets are increasingly clogged with poverty-stricken beggars, and citizens simply have to point a weapon at a government official to get what they want. Crime is crippling. Clandonia Prime's national animal is the Lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Crown.
