Every citizen must submit to DNA testing to be eliminated from police inquiries, mining safety laws are often more expensive than what's being mined, the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth, and only the rich can afford the latest medical innovations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Calizorinstan's national animal is the great white shark, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the atla.
